A Moment In Time...4:55 At St. Louis

SOLD  OUT

The GM&O Historical Society is proud to present this limited run, special edition full color lithograph.  The scene depicts train no.15, the Gulf Coast Rebel, backing into St. Louis Union Station just after servicing.  Sixty minutes from now this crimson and silver consist will depart for its overnight journey to Mobile.  To the right, Alton Pacific no. 5296, on the head of no.1, the Alton Limited, arrives on time with its heavyweight train from Chicago.  It is the fall of 1945 and the GM&O-Alton merger is still over a year away.  Within five years, this scene will change as the Alco will be wearing red and maroon and the Pacific will be replaced by a pair of E7 A's.

Each limited run print is hand signed and numbered by renowned railroad artist Charles Amos.  The image is 20 X 26 inches on a 24 X 28 inch matte.  Your print will be shipped in a crush proof tube. Don't be disappointed - Order yours today!  $20.00 postage paid.

Only one copy of this lithograph remains available.  It has a small 3/16" tear at the top edge of the matte, but does not affect the image (still over 1/2" away).  Framed, this imperfection will not be visible.
